Description of the project

Large quantities of goods and products for sale often enter shopping centers, and when unloading sales lots, significant amounts of cardboard and plastic waste are generated. Often in shopping centers there are grocery stores and restaurants, so in addition to packaging waste, food waste and direct bio-waste are generated. When tenants change and tenants often have a high turnover of employees, a large part of the user base is using equipment and collection equipment reserved for waste disposal for the first time. Therefore, waste management, waste facilities and equipment reserved for waste management must be as clear as possible to use and clearly marked so that it is clear where each waste belongs. This makes recycling easy and successful.

The customer faced the challenge of existing, rather cramped and inconveniently shaped spaces for the presses, which were impossible to modify due to cost reasons. Kapasity proposed a solution in which we would supply a double packer, i.e. a combi press that can pack two different parts of waste. The device was equipped in such a way that the cardboard that was packed in another compartment would come out in the event of emptying, and would not cause inconvenience as extra costs from the transport company.

Waste management of the Arctic research ship
The waste management of a responsible ship differs enormously from everything else, especially if the ship's route is long and it cannot stop along the way to take the waste to the ports for recycling.
