Description of the project
In real estate, whether it is a residential or commercial property, waste disposal accounts for a significant part of all goods in circulation. Unfortunately, almost all the products that enter the properties are packed and the packaging ends up in waste collection vehicles. Spaces of this type often have many users, from dozens to even hundreds. Therefore, waste management, waste facilities and equipment reserved for waste management must be as clear as possible to use and clearly marked so that it is clear where each waste belongs. The client's residential property was only at the design stage when the contact began.
A particular challenge for the client was how to get the waste generated from the three residential tower blocks through an existing hypermarket operating on commercial property to the ground level from which residential tower blocks could be serviced. Kapasity started to design a solution and we made a proposal where users of residential tower houses would feed waste shafts from a waste room built on top of the yard deck. The waste passes along waste shafts through the hypermarket operating on the property, which are disguised inside the property so that they are not perceived by outsiders as waste shafts. At the bottom of the shafts is a waste fractionation equipment that directs the incoming waste fractions (cardboard, plastic, paper, mixed and bio-waste) to the correct presses.
