Large Electronics Store
Description of the project
In electronics stores, as in other retail, most of the waste comes when sales batches arrive in the store and staff unload sales batches and shelve products. Therefore, it is important that waste management is planned from start to finish with the realities of the operations around it; plastics and cardboard should be collected as close as possible to their place of origin and collection should be done in such a way that it was as easy as possible, even pleasant for the user.
Because of this, a plastic baler for collecting plastic was placed immediately next to the unloading point, immediately outside next to the loading space, a Tunnel cardboard press to be filled from the side through the wall and only last an energy press. The placement of the equipment had a decisive influence on the success of sorting by placing the most specific waste fractions first, so that sorting is easy for users and serves the store by being as efficient as possible.
