Description of the project
In the food industry, the special features of waste management are the absolute requirement for uncompromising hygiene and the requirement that the level of hygiene does not reduce efficiency. On the food side, competition is fierce and customers are very price-conscious, so all processes from transporting raw materials to packaging and waste disposal must be refined and efficient to the end and not break the cold chain. The customer faced a particularly high total waste management costs due to the exceptionally large annual waste volumes of nearly 2000 tonnes (2 million kg) of biowaste.
