Description of the project
It is the responsibility of municipalities and cities to be responsible for collecting household municipal waste, which is not the responsibility of the smallest end. There are many things and variables involved in the collection of household waste. A small snow ant can cause surprising chain reactions that then appear at the end of the collection when you need to make up for lost time. The challenge facing the municipal waste management company was really expensive so-called dead driving, that is, driving from the place where the route ends to the point where the packer truck (read garbage truck) gets to empty its tank.
The amount of waste collected per year in the collection area was more than 30,000 tons, which meant about 1700 packager-car waste. Kapasity set out to calculate route optimization and we came up with a solution where we proposed an investment in a transfer loading station. A transfer loading station is a huge press system where the waste already collected can be emptied into an even larger load, from which three full containers of waste are then driven in combination (i.e. in cassettes) at once. The advantage of this is that the packer cars did not have to drive dead at all anymore. The packager truck was able to drive up the ramp, lift up the dump and dump its entire load of 15,000 kg of waste at once into a waste compactor manufactured by Kapasity, which packed it into a large waste container.
