Description of the project
It is the responsibility of municipalities and cities to maintain, among other things, the cleanliness of parks and winter maintenance. To this end, many municipalities and cities have set up their own business establishments. Business establishments either purchase the equipment themselves to carry out maintenance and maintenance work or contract the work to private contractors. A lot of times, they both work together. These responsibilities also include emptying the garbage bins in the parks, as well as taking care of the collection and responsible recycling and disposal of the waste masses generated. The challenge for the customer was that the Doppel pickup truck that left the route became full very quickly and had to take the waste far away, and then could only return to its route. Kapasity took up the challenge and set out to design a customised solution for the customer and the associated logistical reform.
We provided a solution in which a Doppel car doing park work reverses in front of a huge feed hopper placed on top of the press. The Doppel truck empties its pallet into the hopper of the waste press, from where the entire load goes at once to the waste compactor. Huge challenges for the waste compactor are the contents of the waste: to a large extent sand, salt, garbage and animal excrement. The press had to be equipped with a robust domestic Biozone deodorizing equipment. The investment significantly shortened the dead run of the park unit's Doppel cars and hugely streamlined operations.
